The CIDRS application is divided into two sections:

All sections of the application must be completed online. The server will allow you to save your work so that you may complete the application over multiple sessions. When you are done, simply press the submit button on the last page to submit your application for review.

Application Fee:  There is NO cost to apply.

Paper Presenter Application: CIDRS invites graduate students and advanced undergraduate students to submit papers on topics related to any of the conference's four broad topics: the economy, politics, society, or international relations of China and/or India. Submissions that focus on either one of the countries will be considered, but preference will be given to those papers that overlap both countries. Applying to be a paper presenter is optional. Applicants whose paper submissions are rejected will still be considered in the general pool; however, those who are accepted to be presenters must upload the full paper by February 1, 2007 before being allowed to attend the conference.  UPDATE: There are currently no paper presentation spots available.

Financial aid: CIDRS is committed to providing financial assistance to those who might otherwise be unable to attend our conference.A number of financial aid packages will be offered, likely in the form of reduced or waived conference registration fees.

Age requirements: We accept applications from anyone currently or formerly enrolled in any accredited undergraduate or graduate program. However, strong preference will be given to current students.
